South Park
South Park was created by Matt Stone and Trey Parker in around 1997 since then it has been a huge success globaly. The reason for it's major success was that it was a CARTOON which was pushed to the limits. The cartoon featured 4 children just haning out and whenever they got the chance, swar. In one episode they swear roughly 150 times.
So far there have been 6 seasons of South Park with 97 episodes in total. The creators of the series are currently in production of the 7th series. In America South Park is huge and airs on Comedy central and in the UK it airs on SKY ONE and channel 4.
But anyway this is one of my favourite shows of all time as i find it absolutely hillarious

Films
So far there has been one south Park movie entitled South Park Bigger Longer and Uncut, the title is fairly self explanatory. As it is 1hour30mins so it is longer and it is uncut because they do swear loads.
As far as I am aware there is currently a petition going on the Internet to get the creators to do another movie.
As well as doing a south Park movie the creators, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, have also done 3 movies of there own which they star in. These are Cannibal the musical, Orgazmo, and Basketball. Basketball has to be by far the best out of the three and one of my all time favourite films.
Basketball- It's about two average guys who invent a game which is a cross between Basketball and Baseball. But by some freak coinsidence this game becomes a huge success. |
